Berlin Brigade BUSMVA

The Berlin U.S. Military Veterans Association (BUSMVA) proudly initiates this fundraising campaign.  The Berlin Brigade and it s supporting units served in West Berlin, Germany from the occupation of 1945, through the amazing and historic Berlin Airlift in 1948, the refugee influx in the 1950s, the construction of the Berlin Wall and Checkpoint Charlie in 1961, the various Cold War standoffs,  the stunning opening of the Wall in November 1989 and eventual reunification of East and West Germany in October 1990.  The U.S. forces served this historic city until withdrawal of forces from the city in 1994.

This page is to raise funds to add a Berlin Brigade UNIT TRIBUTE PLAQUE to be displayed on the Path of Remembrance.   Help us to preserve a lasting tribute to the legacy of the Berlin Brigade and the Military, Civilian, and Family Members who served 110 miles behind the Iron Curtain during a critical time in the world.  Berlin was a special and memorable place and time to serve.  It was the first duty station for many and for many, the most memorable.  This unit was unique in structure and mission.  We need everyone's help to share our pride and memories with future generations. Our goal is to raise $5000 to fully fund the plaque.

Your contribution will take us one step closer to making the Berlin Brigade Tribute Plaque a reality.
